Bad settings, ugly welds, wasted material, blown holes in metal I shouldn’t have, you name it, I probably did it. There were times I got frustrated because nobody really explained the simple stuff that would’ve saved me a lot of trouble.

Over the years, I stuck with it and kept learning. I’ve worked with MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux Core and every process taught me something different. Some lessons came easy. Others came after a lot of grinding, re-welding, and figuring things out on my own.

That’s the whole reason I started this blog.

I want to help beginners skip some of the mistakes I made and get better faster. Welding can be tough when you’re starting out, but it doesn’t have to be confusing. A few good tips at the right time can save you money, time, and a lot of frustration.

Everything I share here is based on real experience, the stuff that actually happens in the shop or garage, not just what the manual says.

If you’re new to welding, trying to improve, or just want straight answers without all the fluff, you’re in the right place.

Keep practicing, stay safe, and keep welding.

Hey, I’m a welder who learned most of this the hard way.
